About the role
The Strategy Management Office is a new team within Imperial’s central headquarters. Reporting to the Vice-President (Strategic Engagement and Communications), the Strategy Management Office (SMO) is responsible for driving programme-level interventions to enable the successful implementation of Imperial’s Strategy “Science for Humanity”.
The team supports Strategy Initiative Leads across the University to embed best practice through providing a consistent approach to implementation, strengthening coordination across strategy initiative milestone planning, addressing communications and change management gaps and owning the overarching governance of the Strategy implementation programme.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who can deliver outstanding administrative support to ensure the effective and efficient running of our activities.
What you would be doing
You will be responsible for organising SMO events and activities, providing secretarial support for SMO meetings, helping the Director to reconcile strategic investment funding and maintaining and developing the SMO’s website and databases.
What we are looking for
You will have prior experience of working within the higher education environment or similar, with a track record of high‑quality customer service, relationship management, meeting organisation, and balancing competing priorities.
You should be highly proficient in Microsoft Office with experience in budget management, forecasting, and delivering accurate, well‑organised work to tight deadlines both independently and as part of a team.
We are looking for an individual who can communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
