This post is based at the Small Animal Teaching Hospital at the Leahurst Campus near Neston, Wirral. This is an exciting opportunity to join the theatre team in our busy state-of-the-art-hospital. You will be predominantly based in theatre, assisting our diverse referral caseload, from Soft Tissue Surgery, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Diagnostic Imaging, Oncology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Dermatology. You will be involved in a range of surgical techniques and will be using the state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the best possible care to our patients.
You will be a qualified Veterinary Nurse with relevant experience in surgery. You must be flexible in shift patterns, and you will be required to be on the nursing rota for weekends, Bank holidays and University closed days.
