Are you an Information Specialist with a passion for innovation in public health research? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Sheffield Centre for Health and Related Research (SCHARR), part of our world-leading School of Medicine and Population Health. We are seeking a creative problem-solver who combines scientific rigour with a keen interest in the future of information science. You will have a degree in Librarianship or Information Science, or equivalent professional experience, alongside a solid understanding of systematic review methodology.
If you are an effective communicator who can explain complex search designs to everyone from postgraduate students to clinicians, we want to hear from you. You should be comfortable working independently while also enjoying the collaborative nature of a well-connected, multi-disciplinary research team.
In this role, you will lead on the information retrieval aspects of high-impact evidence synthesis projects. You will act as a key expert on novel methods, including the responsible use of AI, and provide vital support for research grant applications.
