The Role
You will be fundamental in ensuring the successful implementation of the new finance system, providing the financial systems expertise needed to ensure the solution is configured and adopted effectively across the University. You will work closely with the project team, stakeholders from across the University and external suppliers.
Following implementation you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement to ensure the University continues to gets the best out of the system in the future.
The team/The department
The Finance and Procurement Directorate is responsible for ensuring the University’s financial sustainability and delivering value for money across the institution. We oversee all financial transactions, budgets, forecasts, and statutory compliance, while also helping to reduce financial barriers to study for our students.
Our Procurement team secures best value for goods and services through effective contracts and tenders, ensuring full compliance with public contract regulations and promoting responsible, cost-effective purchasing practices.
Our teams provide expert advice to support informed, responsible decision-making and work collaboratively with stakeholders to optimise resources, maintain compliance, and deliver efficient, professional financial and procurement services that support the University’s long-term goals.
