We wish to appoint an Associate Lecturer in Digital Humanities and Modern Languages/Comparative Literature (Education Focused) within the School of Modern Languages. This is a fixed-term position for one year to cover a period of staff leave.
The role holder will support the delivery of the School’s online postgraduate programme in Global Digital Humanities. The role holder will also contribute to teaching and assessment for the School’s in-person programmes in languages and/or comparative literature.
Applicants must have previous teaching experience (ideally at post-secondary level) as well as professional competency and expertise in the teaching of at least one of the languages taught in the School (Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Persian, Russian, and Spanish). Experience of teaching postgraduates and of teaching on online programmes is desirable.
