About the role
Applications are invited for a full-time Senior Operations Administrator position to work alongside colleagues to provide professional services to the Department.
This post is available from 22nd June 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Interviews will be held on Wednesday 3rd June 2026.
About you
A successful candidate will be educated to A level standard, or equivalent, or having acquired equivalent vocational/commercial knowledge and will have experience of working in this area. They will have experience of providing administrative support in a busy office environment and knowledge of financial processes and regulations associated with general financial administration. They will also have proven experience of providing effective financial support (including the experience of online financial systems), experience of providing financial reporting, experience of operational space/facilities management and proven ability of overseeing event management.
An outstanding candidate will be educated to degree level or have equivalent qualifications or substantial relevant experience. They will have experience working in a HEI or similarly complex organisation, as well as experience of servicing meetings, including planning, liaising with chair to create agenda, taking and producing minutes and managing committee papers. The candidate will also have experience of using records management systems within an institution.
