About the role
Reporting into the UG Team Leader (UCL School of Management), in this job you will be responsible for leading the planning and development of a suite of employer/alumni activities both within and outside the curriculum in relation to undergraduate students on the BSc International Management and BSc Management for Social Change degree programmes based at Canary Wharf. You will also be tasked with working with the wider SoM Careers team, including other Senior Employer Engagement Officers, to look for synergies between programme cohorts and opportunities to share resource.
You will be responsible for designing and proposing the programme of employer activity relating to their area(s) of work in collaboration with the Programme Directors, based on relevant evidence and data, including student, alumni and stakeholder feedback. You'll recommend and initiate new ideas, secure stakeholder buy-in, and project manage the delivery, including taking responsibility for student engagement, overseeing a high quality output and collating / reporting on feedback.

You will be expected to forge and establish first-class relationships with employer and alumni contacts within designated sectors and areas that International Management and Management for Social Change students aspire to work in (Public Sector; Policy & Government: Sustainability: International Organisations; Entrepreneurship and Consultancy).
Extensive and evidenced effective stakeholder engagement and relationship management will be required to excel in this role. You will be expected to proactively identify and initiate new employer/alumni relationships according to relevant data; plan and trial various strategies to generate new employer contacts and bring knowledge of / experience in one or more of the following areas: Public Sector; Policy & Government: Sustainability: International Organisations; Entrepreneurship and Consultancy.
