Annual Leave: 25 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year

Main duties and responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for delivering a wide range of general administrative support to the host department. They will play a proactive role within the department’s administrative team, working collaboratively as appropriate to support the effective organisation and coordination of departmental activities. The role requires maintaining a high standard of accuracy and efficiency in all administrative processes, ensuring full compliance with legal, regulatory, and University policies and procedures.
The post holder will encourage a culture of flexibility, excellence and willingness to assist colleagues across Academic Registry and will be responsible, along with the Team Leader (AQ Systems and Surveys) for the monitoring of data quality produced by the Academic Services department within Academic Registry.
Skill and experience required
You will bring substantial administrative experience, ideally gained within a Higher Education environment, along with strong IT skills across Microsoft Office applications, including databases, spreadsheets and word‑processing.
You will be confident managing a variety of competing demands and working effectively under pressure, preferably within a complex and fast‑paced organisation. Highly organised and detail‑focused, you will be able to build productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. Proven experience delivering excellent customer service and working effectively within a team is essential.
We are looking for someone with a positive, flexible approach and excellent communication skills. Working knowledge of a student record system would be an advantage.
Qualifications required
You will be educated to A-level standard or equivalent qualification or have proven professional experience at an appropriate level.
