About the Role

The successful candidate will join the teaching team delivering teaching, facilitating learning and engaging in the assessment processes across a range of modules/ subject areas on the undergraduate, postgraduate, professional and post-experience programmes. They will engage with the universities quality monitoring policies and procedures related to module and programme delivery, as well as undertaking wider duties such as personal academic tutoring, timetabling, marketing, admissions and others.

The anticipated interview date is Tuesday 7th July 2026.

About You

The ideal candidate will be a professionally registered Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration and proven experience within occupational therapy practice. You will demonstrate a genuine appetite for supporting student learning and development, alongside the ability to communicate complex and conceptual ideas clearly to a wide range of audiences. You will be committed to delivering an outstanding student experience through continual enhancement, innovation, and high-quality teaching and support.

In addition, you will embody the professional competencies, core behaviours, and values that align with both the Occupational Therapy profession and the University’s commitment to Equality, Diversity and Belonging.

This role is eligible for sponsorship by the University, however, your individual circumstances must meet the criteria set out by UKVI; this includes meeting the English Language requirement and earning a salary that meets the highest of either the going rate for the SOC code or the minimum salary threshold for the Skilled Worker route (£41,700 per annum, as of 22nd July 2025).

If the role is eligible, but the offered salary is less that the going rate for the role, you may still be able to apply for a Skilled Worker visa if:

  • Your job is on the Immigration Skills List
  • You’re under 26, studying or a recent graduate, or in professional training
  • You have a PhD level qualification that’s relevant to your job
  • You have a postdoctoral position in science or higher education
