The Head of Wound Innovation Institute (WII) Operations will provide senior professional services support to the Director of the Institute, reporting into the Faculty Director of Strategy and Operations. He/she will support the development of and lead the implementation of WII’s strategic vision, ensuring alignment with University and Faculty priorities. This role encompasses strategic planning, governance, compliance, and risk management, alongside building and sustaining internal and external relationships with Institute partners, including NHS Trusts, Hull and East Yorkshire Combined Authority, academic institutions, and industry collaborators. They will also lead on the WII’s long-term operational growth strategy and support further substantive bids (e.g. infrastructure and/or doctoral training). Whilst the Faculty Director of Strategy and Operations will provide line management, guidance and ensure integration and alignment within the wider Faculty, the Director of WII will oversee and direct day-to-day working.
