Brunel Business School, within the Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting, is seeking to appoint a Post Doctoral Research Fellow to join the Horizon Europe Innovation Action JUST-CIRCLE, coordinated by Brunel University of London. JUST-CIRCLE develops, tests and validates circular business models that support a fair and sustainable transition through interdisciplinary research, international collaboration and innovation.
In this role, you will contribute to Brunel’s work on sustainability accounting, accountability and circular business model validation, with a particular focus on FAIR-aligned evidence practices, data quality and traceability, governance, validation toolkit development, and cross-work-package evidence integration. You will help produce high-quality research outputs, technical and policy-facing materials, and project deliverables, while working closely with academic and non-academic partners across an international consortium.
We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in a relevant discipline, a strong research profile, and the ability to work independently on complex research tasks. You should have excellent analytical and written communication skills, experience of high-quality academic research, and the ability to work with complex documentary, qualitative or structured evidence. Experience in sustainability accounting, accountability, governance, traceability-oriented research materials, or externally funded collaborative projects will be particularly valuable.
