Delivery Manager

Job description:

Are you an experienced delivery professional who thrives on turning strategic plans into reality? We're looking for a Delivery Manager to join our IT Services team as we transform how we deliver technology products and services across the University.

You'll bridge product strategy and execution, orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver successful technology initiatives. Working at the intersection of product, technology and business stakeholders, you'll translate roadmaps into actionable plans whilst maintaining momentum, quality and timelines.

Your day-to-day will include facilitating agile ceremonies, removing blockers that impede progress, coordinating dependencies across teams, and ensuring transparency around delivery status. You'll coach teams on agile practices, implement continuous improvements based on metrics, and foster environments where teams can do their best work.

Who we're looking for

You'll have demonstrated experience successfully delivering technology projects using agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Your communication skills enable you to tailor messages effectively for different audiences, from technical teams to senior stakeholders.

You're skilled at identifying and resolving impediments, managing risks and coordinating dependencies. Experience facilitating agile ceremonies and supporting teams on delivery practices is essential, along with proficiency in delivery tracking tools.

Agile certification, cross-functional team leadership experience, and knowledge of product management principles would strengthen your application. Most importantly, you combine technical understanding with exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills.
