We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, talented lecturer able to undertake five contact hours a week of tutorial and/or small class teaching averaged over the three eight-week terms of the academic year 2026/27. Duties will include setting and marking written work, assisting students with study skills, revision and essay writing, submitting reports, and providing assistance with undergraduate admissions if requested.
You will teach Classics, and in particular: give classes and tutorials, mark students’ weekly essays and problem questions to assess their progress, and provide guidance for improvement. Further information can be found in the Further Particulars.
Alongside a proven teaching ability, you will have good communication skills and be able to participate in pastoral and organisation tasks within the College.
