About the Role
The successful candidate will undertake research investigations in collaboration with and under the supervision of Dr Nicholas Tsitsianis (Project Lead) and Dr Evisa Mitrou (Project Co-Lead) in order to realise the objectives and development of the research programme JUST-CIRCLE: Measuring and Advancing Circular Business Models for a Fair and Sustainable Transition. JUST-CIRCLE aims to co-develop, pilot, and scale Circular Business Models that contribute to a just regenerative economy.
About You
The successful candidate will hold a PhD, or be close to completion, or possess research qualifications and experience equivalent to PhD level in the relevant subject area for the research programme. They will be educated to degree level in a relevant field and have qualifications in participatory research methods, alongside postgraduate training in research methods. They will demonstrate relevant knowledge and experience in circular economy and circular business models or related areas of social science research relevant to a just transition.
The candidate will be experienced in planning and delivering their own work allocation to agreed timescales and quality standards.

The post is situated within the School of Business and Management (SBM), one of the leading academic units at Queen Mary University of London. The School is part of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and is home to over 100 academic staff and a vibrant community of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students.
