King’s Careers and Employability is a team of 45 specialist staff working with key stakeholders to support students, graduates and researchers to achieve future success.
About the role:
This is an opportunity for candidates with significant experience of the legal sector or as a HE careers consultant with legal careers knowledge law to work with the Dickson Poon School of Law to support students and graduates in their development of career management skills. This could be through in person or online workshops and lectures, one to one coaching appointments or designing digital resources. You’ll work with home and international clients studying a range of legally focused programmes and you should be able to show a knowledge of international student needs.
You will need specific knowledge of the recruitment trends for both graduates from a first degree and postgraduates with experience.
You must have evidence of building lasting relationships with senior stakeholders as you will develop links with a range of legal employers as well as becoming a key contributor in a highly regarded academic department.
You’ll be skilled at building rapport with a wide range of people and wish to utilise your excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills to deliver a high-quality service.
This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
