About the Role
Working within the Library Learning Support and Engagement (LLSE) team, you will play an important role in enhancing how students engage with Library Services and the Academic Skills Centre. The role combines communications and engagement work with operational support, offering the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of student-facing activities and projects.
You will help promote library spaces, services and initiatives through digital content, marketing materials, events and social media, while also supporting the Academic Skills Centre through enquiry management, online learning resources and reporting activities. Working closely with colleagues across Library Services and the wider university, you will contribute to projects and initiatives that improve the student experience and support service development.
About You
You will be an organised and proactive professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a busy environment. You will have experience creating engaging digital content for websites, virtual learning environments or social media, alongside strong digital and analytical skills.
You will be confident working both independently and collaboratively, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and service improvement. You should be adaptable, proactive and committed to delivering an inclusive, high-quality service for diverse student and staff communities.
