Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Fellow in English Literature in the English Department, to start September 2026 and running for 10 months.
This key appointment will teach both UG and MA students. The primary focus of the job is 20th century literature: convening and seminars on "New York School" poetry, convening, lecturing and seminars on Introducing Poetry, Thinking as a Critic and Supplementary Discourses and Reading as a Writer on Poetic Practice MA pathway.
Applicants should have a proven record of high-calibre teaching with a specialism in contemporary poetry and poetics. The appointee will be expected to participate fully in delivering the Department’s objectives, undertaking writing, teaching, and public engagement. They will also participate in departmental administration as requested by the Head of Department.
