We have an exciting opportunity for a 12-month graduate placement within our Career Studio team as a Career Coach where you will be providing support to our current students across all our campuses in Cheltenham and Gloucester.
About the department
Libraries and Student Support Services offer student-centred support across a range of teams to enrich the student experience throughout their academic journey.  These teams collaborate with other professional and academic colleagues across the University to deliver a professional, high quality, and customer-focused service aligned with the University’s academic mission and strategic priorities.
The Careers and Employability Team sit within the Student Services offer, providing a range of employability and career support through in-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The Career Studio acts as the ‘front door’ to this team, providing personalised 1-1 and group career coaching and support.
About the role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic individual to join our Career Studio team as a Career Coach. You’ll be at the heart of the student experience, providing high-quality, careers support both in-person and online. To support our growing campus communities, you will spend time across all four campuses each week (FCH, Park, Oxstalls and City), supported byother members of the Careers and Employability Team.
As a Career Coaching and Engagement professional located in the Career Studio, your main responsibilities will involve both offering personalised career support to students and graduates and contributing to the wider goal of engaging as many students as possible with the activities run by the Careers and Employability Team.
Operating across all UoG campuses, this will be a hands-on and flexible role where every day is different.
