About the role
We’re looking for a creative, data-driven Marketing Campaigns & Communications Officer to join our Student Recruitment and Campaigns team.
In this role, you’ll plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging multi-channel marketing campaigns that support student recruitment across undergraduate and postgraduate (taught and research) audiences, both in the UK and internationally.
You’ll play a vital role in shaping prospective students’ journeys, using targeted, personalised communications to drive engagement and conversion.
You’ll be a proactive and organised marketing professional with a passion for creating impactful campaigns. You’ll combine creative thinking with strong analytical skills to deliver results.

Our Marketing, Recruitment & Communications department is made up of experts in student recruitment, design, digital, PR, market research and more, all of whom work to support BU’s strategic plan. We work with senior stakeholders to influence recruitment targets and support the university in shaping our portfolio to optimise recruitment. We embed effective internal communications activity throughout the University to ensure academic and professional services staff are well equipped and informed.
