About the role

We are seeking an experienced & proactive Quality Manager to join our Quality & Governance team on a fixed-term basis, supporting a major phase of curriculum transformation aligned to the BU Learning Model.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take a leading role in delivering key projects that underpin the University’s evolving curriculum framework.

This includes:

  • Leading policy development & implementation to support new curriculum models
  • Driving process improvement and project delivery across Academic Services
  • Providing expert advice on quality assurance, regulatory requirements, & frameworks
  • Working closely with stakeholders across BU to ensure consistent & effective implementation
  • Supporting the development of training, guidance, & resources for staff
  • Monitoring impact and using data to inform continuous improvement

You’ll also engage with external bodies (e.g. OfS, QAA) and help ensure BU stays aligned with sector expectations and best practice.

  • Experience of developing and implementing policies & processes
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance in higher education
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complexity into clarity
  • A collaborative approach & a commitment to continuous improvement
