Our Property Team is responsible for managing the University’s multi-million-pound Investment property portfolio. The surplus income and capital generated from the portfolio is reinvested to fund core research and academic functions within the University. Although this portfolio is separate to the University’s operational estate, it is strategically adjacent, and managed to generate ethical and sustainable income, capital receipts, and maximize value through commercial partnerships and collaborations.
We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Facilities Building Assistant to join our team. You will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring our building remains a safe, welcoming, and fully functional environment for our staff and visitors.
The role is based at the University’s Enterprise Centre. This facility provides modern, flexible working space with additional support offered to small and medium size enterprises and sole practitioners in developing entrepreneurial skills, and connecting with funding, mentoring, industry partners and business development opportunities.
Working closely with the Centre Manager and colleagues across estates and the wider university, you will support the development and delivery of the operating plan.
