The surplus income and capital generated from the portfolio is reinvested to fund core research and academic functions within the University. Although this portfolio is separate to the University’s operational estate, it is strategically adjacent, and managed to generate ethical and sustainable income, capital receipts, and maximize value through commercial partnerships and collaborations.
