The School
Speech and Language Therapy is part of the School of Health Sciences, which offers a diverse portfolio of pre-registration accredited programmes including Adult Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Diagnostic Radiotherapy, Mental Health Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practice, Paramedic Science, and Physiotherapy.
This breadth of disciplines creates a vibrant and collaborative learning environment, providing excellent opportunities for interprofessional education that reflects the person-centred and patient-focused nature of contemporary healthcare. The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the School of Science, Technology & Health to work within the MSc Speech and Language Therapy programme
The successful candidate will join the existing team to deliver course material. Experience of working with adults is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be supported by a skilled and enthusiastic team at the university to develop teaching and learning and research skills and knowledge within Speech and Language Therapy.
Key Requirements
Successful candidates should have contemporary knowledge and experience of speech and language therapy, hold current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Speech and Language Therapist. Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and a postgraduate level qualification is desirable but not essential.
Experience of working in Higher Education, programme development, or the ability to develop external partnerships would be a distinct advantage.
