About Role
The Building Services Mechanical Bias Multi-Skilled Engineer role will provide strategic engineering service delivery for the provision, development and management of an extensive portfolio of all hard services, which supports the achievement of the Queen Mary Strategic Plan, enabling staff and students to work and learn efficiently and effectively.
As a member of the EAF engineering team, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all services are proactive, driven to adopt industry best practice and methodologies, and to ensure the delivery of high quality, solution focused reliable and resilient estates technical service.
About You
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated professional with a proven record of accomplishment in successfully managing and delivering an effective maintenance service.
The successful candidate will be qualified to a minimum of Level 3 or degree level in Electrical or Mechanical building services discipline.
The post is full time, 42 hours per week – working four days on, four days off shift pattern, alternating between nights and days, which includes weekends, public holidays and university closures.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
