The Global Student Recruitment Team is central to the University’s aspirations for growth in the number and diversification of international students and the development of its programme portfolio. The Team sits within External Relations, Student Recruitment and Communications. This team supports the University of Hull's Strategy 2030 by supporting the building of a 'truly international community that celebrates our place in a connected, global world and promotes open cooperation across borders, nationalities and cultures'.

Background and Context
We are recruiting for x2 International Recruitment Officer.

The post-holder will support the recruitment of international students to Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes from specific geographic areas. This will involve promoting programmes, supporting applications, and converting offer-holders into fully enrolled students.

The post will involve managing projects and strands of work to underpin effective recruitment, including contributing to and writing marketing materials, liaison with agents, sponsors, recruitment partner organisations, and in-country teams. This may include developing and monitoring formal agreements.

It will require effective operational work with systems, including online admissions, the CRM, and other management information databases. The post-holder will deliver activity to support the development and maintenance of recruitment partnerships and educational agreements, which support the education priorities of Faculties, and yield income to the University.

The post-holder will agree marketing plans for the markets they have responsibility for, and operationalise those plans, working in conjunction with agreed key messages and strategic marketing priorities. They will also contribute to the identification, development and delivery of a portfolio of initiatives to increase income through recruitment. More broadly, the post-holder will support the development and expansion of initiatives which promote the internationalisation of the University and its reputation.
