This exciting role is to teach on our BA (Hons) Set Design for Stage and Screen programme. You will also be expected to lead this programme.

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every criterion. We are particularly looking for talented individuals with experience of:

  • Designing sets for both live performance and film production
  • Scale model-making skills
  • CAD modelling skills
  • Technical Drawing skills
  • A good knowledge of CAD technical drawing (preferably Vectorworks, Sketchup, Autocad or Rhino)
  • A good knowledge of set building construction and prop making techniques.
  • A good knowledge of safe working practices and Risk Assessment processes.
  • A good knowledge of specialist materials and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of industry professional bodies and organisations.
