About this role
People Services at UWE Bristol is looking to appoint an Executive Support Coordinator on a fixed term basis until July 2027.
People Services provides a range of services and expertise dedicated to delivering a high-quality, people-centred working environment. These services include advice and support for staff and managers, recruitment and onboarding, reward and recognition and payroll and pensions
The Executive Support Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing a full and professional support service to the Director of People Services. This includes a wide range of administrative and executive support duties as well as undertaking project work.
About you
With previous experience of working within a Human Resources environment, you will have proven administrative experience with an understanding of the requirements of executive support. Excellent planning and organisation skills are essential as are excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with a range of stakeholders. You will have a collaborative approach to work whilst able to work autonomously. Given the nature of the role, you will also be able to deal sensitively and discretely with confidential information.

UWE Bristol is a campus-based University, with vibrant campus communities that are central to student life.
In this role, you’ll be based at our modern Frenchay Campus where we’ve invested in state-of-the-art facilities designed to help both staff and students succeed.
You’ll spend most of your time on campus, typically 60 percent of your time, with the opportunity to work from home on the remaining days.

This is a full-time, fixed term post until June 2027. The post is available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time.
Salary offers are made in line with the University’s salary assessment guidelines, reflecting your relevant skills and experience in parity with colleagues.
