Our English Language and Linguistics programme is growing, and as a result we’ve got a fantastic opportunity for someone versatile who can teach across a range of undergraduate modules and areas which include applied linguistics; discourse analysis; second language acquisition; language and pedagogy; and ecolinguistics.  You will join a dedicated and research-active team in the teaching of our home and international undergraduates.

Alongside this, you’ll contribute to research outputs, funding applications, and knowledge exchange, building collaborations that enhance both impact and reputation.

  • Expertise in areas such as psycholinguistics, applied linguistics, or ecolinguistics
  • Proven experience of teaching in higher education, including module leadership

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to supporting and inspiring students
