Applications are invited for a permanent post of a Professor and Deputy Principal CDIC within UCD School of Architecture, Planning & Environmental Policy OR UCD School of Civil Engineering OR the UCD School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering (permanent and ongoing) AND UCD Chang’an-Dublin International College of Transportation (CDIC) at Chang’an University (for the first 5 years of tenure only).
This is a full-time permanent academic post. The appointee will become an academic associated with one of the UCD constituent Schools of CDIC, either the School of Architecture, Planning & Environmental Policy, the School of Civil Engineering or the School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, through which they will manage their research and teaching activities under the remit of their Head of School. For the first 5 years of their appointment, the appointee will also serve as Deputy Principal of CDIC. The reporting line for their Deputy Principal CDIC duties will be to the Principal CDIC. The Head of School and the Principal CDIC will work collaboratively to achieve an appropriate balance of duties within the parameters of a normal academic workload of teaching & learning, research and administrative duties.
