Clinical Research Fellow in Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Research Fellow at the St Bartholomew’s Hospital Gastrointestinal Cancer Centre and the Barts Cancer Institute. The postholder will contribute to the development of novel clinical trials and translational research projects. He/she will be actively involved in the recruitment and treatment of patients on existing clinical trials and with standard of care systemic therapies.

About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with high levels of attention to detail. The candidate will work within a highly effective team and should have good IT and communication skills. The post holder will be expected to have sufficient skills to enable patients to make informed choices concerning their involvement in clinical trials by providing advice and information and to contribute to the delivery of trial and standard of care systemic therapy. The post is ideal for doctors in training who are considering a career in oncology.
