Short summary

We are seeking a Consortium Programme Manager to support this major international research programme. Based at the Crick in London, you will work closely with collaborators across multiple countries, coordinating a multidisciplinary network of scientific, clinical and operational partners.

Working alongside the programme lead and study site teams, you will play a central role in ensuring effective communication, programme delivery and stakeholder coordination across the consortium. You will oversee project timelines, reporting, governance and risk management, while working closely with internal teams including Finance, Grants, HR and Legal.

This role would suit someone with experience managing complex scientific grants or programmes with international reach, ideally within academia, healthcare, research or non-profit environments.

Key Responsibilities 

These include but are not limited to: 

  • Leading the day-to-day management and coordination of the B-Zero consortium.
  • Acting as a central point of contact for scientific, clinical and operational stakeholders across the programme.
  • Overseeing project plans, milestones, reporting and risk management to support successful programme delivery.
  • Building strong relationships with collaborators, funders and internal teams.
  • Supporting governance, finance and grant management activities across the consortium.
  • Coordinating meetings, workshops, reporting and communications for funders and partners.
  • Working closely with teams across the Crick, including Finance, Grants, HR and Legal, to ensure effective programme management.

About you

You will have:  

  • Degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing complex scientific or research programmes across the grant lifecycle.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, ideally across academic, clinical or international partnerships.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems proactively.
  • Experience monitoring budgets, timelines and programme deliverables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of audiences.
  • A collaborative, adaptable and relationship-focused approach.
