About the Role
The IT Change Delivery Team is part of IT Services which sits within the Queen Mary Professional Service function. Reporting to the Head of PMO the PMO Analyst will primarily focus on support, control and monitoring of projects and programmes including communication of project and departmental information as assigned and within a project management framework based on Prince2 and Agile.
The projects and programmes being delivered within the ITS Change Delivery Team are key to supporting the University’s 2030 strategy. The PMO Analyst role is key to the reporting and assisting in the timely delivery of initiatives in a controlled manner to defined time, cost and quality.
The role will provide essential management information to Programme Managers, ITS Management Team and Senior Executive Team so informed decisions can be made regarding delivery priorities and spend.
About You
The successful candidate will have proven experience of working within complex portfolios. They will have strong analytical skills and not be afraid to ask questions to make sure projects are delivered to time, cost and quality constraints. They will be self-motivated and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. They will be excellent at building and maintaining relationship across all levels of the organisation. They will also be able to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
About the Department
IT Services is responsible for the provision of all IT-related services to the University. The department develops new IT solutions in collaboration with colleagues from across the University, whilst also ensuring the ongoing smooth operation of existing solutions.
