About the role

Alumni sentiment towards King’s is extremely positive. With life stage remaining the most meaningful lens for understanding behaviour, mid-career alumni are a powerful group. King’s has a unique opportunity to translate this strong affinity into active participation, with a focus on intellectual connection, professional networks and pathways to giving, reflective of alumni motivations.

At King’s, Strategy 2030 sets out bold ambitions to increase opportunities for our alumni to engage and we’re looking for an ambitious Alumni Engagement Manager to develop the programme. Benefits, events and learning opportunities are in demand. Developing a distinctive programme, this postholder will establish opportunities to scale engagement with this audience.

Working closely with colleagues across P&A and the wider university, you will project manage the award-winning King’s Experts Series, deliver the King’s Distinguished Alumni Awards nominations and selections process, enhance King’s lifelong learning offer, and manage a portfolio of alumni. Using alumni survey insights, you will build an active pipeline of volunteers and philanthropists in preparation of King’s next philanthropic and engagement campaign. This is an exciting time for a creative, ambitious relationship manager to join the team!

This is a full time role (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.

P&A has a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of 40% of time in the office. Typically, this equates to two days per week, but we’re very happy for colleagues to be in more frequently if they so wish.
