The School of Education, Health and Science at the University of Gloucestershire is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Lecturer to join our friendly and supportive academic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about higher education and making a positive difference to students' learning and professional development.

The successful candidate will primarily work on our BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies programme. There may also be opportunities to contribute to teaching and supervision across a range of related undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the department, depending on experience and expertise.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has considerable experience working with children and families in the 0-8 age range.
  • Enjoys working with students and contributes positively to the student experience.
  • Is an effective and inspiring communicator who can make learning accessible and engaging.
  • Is reliable, collaborative and committed to delivering high standards in all aspects of their work.
  • Brings enthusiasm, flexibility and a willingness to contribute across a range of programmes where needed.

Based at our brand-new City Campus in Gloucester, as well as our Oxstalls campus, we offer a welcoming and positive working environment.
