We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic **Senior Flow Cytometry Technician** to join the Flow Cytometry Facility within the School of the Biological Sciences, based in the Department of Pathology at the University of Cambridge.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small, supportive team (currently two staff members) at the heart of a vibrant, multidisciplinary research environment.
About the Facility
The Flow Cytometry Facility is located in central Cambridge on Tennis Court Road and comprises three dedicated laboratory spaces. The facility is equipped with a broad range of state-of-the-art instrumentation, including:

The facility supports a wide user base across Cambridge, including researchers from Pathology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Physiology, Development and Neuroscience, Chemistry, Plant Sciences, and the Gurdon Institute.
The Role
The postholder will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the facility, supporting researchers in delivering high-quality experiments and ensuring all instruments operate reliably and efficiently.
Prior experience with both analysers and cell sorters is desirable; however, full training will be provided both in-house and externally for the right candidate.
