The Department of Psychology, within the Institute of Population Health, is seeking to appoint an outstanding and internationally recognised senior academic to contribute leadership, research, impact and teaching activity.
The applicants should have a strong record of internationally excellent publications, and research activity aligned to the research strengths of the Department. We are particularly seeking an individual with research expertise in neuroscience that would complement departmental strengths and support local strategic partnerships (e.g., with the NHS). You will also contribute to teaching and supervision on a number of undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programmes.
You should have a PhD in a relevant discipline, a track record of publications in high quality journals, and be able to demonstrate research independence, leadership, and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively.
The post is available on a teaching and research career pathway at Grades 10 and on a permanent basis.
