As a senior member of the academic team, you will provide strategic leadership to support the school’s ambition to establish clinical skills and simulation-based education as a distinctive strength within its educational offer. Working closely with colleagues, students and healthcare partners, you will lead innovation in teaching and learning, enhance practice-based education, and contribute to the development of interprofessional learning opportunities across a wide range of healthcare programmes.
You will contribute to the design, delivery and continuous enhancement of undergraduate, postgraduate and apprenticeship programmes, while supporting strategic projects aligned with School and Faculty priorities. The role also offers opportunities to influence curriculum development, build strong partnerships with NHS and other healthcare providers, mentor colleagues, and promote educational scholarship and innovation.
About you
You will be a registered healthcare professional (NMC, HCPC or equivalent) with a relevant Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience. You will have a strong track record of excellence in healthcare education, alongside significant experience of leading practice-based education and the use of clinical skills and simulation-enhanced learning to support curriculum development and educational quality.

Why join us?
