About the Role
The UCL School of Management is seeking an Associate Professor (Teaching) in AI and Education Design to lead the integration of AI across its educational provision. This role will shape how students develop the knowledge, skills, and critical awareness to use AI effectively, ethically, and in organisational settings.
The successful candidate will lead curriculum innovation, embedding AI capabilities across programmes and developing initiatives such as workshops and training for staff and students. They will also represent the School in discussions on AI in education, helping to strengthen its reputation as a sector leader.
The role includes teaching, assessment, dissertation supervision, curriculum development, and academic leadership, alongside collaboration with colleagues and external partners.
This is a teaching-focused post on the Education/Teaching track and is not a research-track position.
Salary
UCL Grade 9: £68,284–£74,166 per annum (including London Allowance), plus market supplements.
About You
You will hold a relevant PhD or equivalent doctorate and have significant experience in AI education policy and practice. You will have led institutionally or nationally significant initiatives that have delivered measurable educational impact and have a strong track record of collaborating with external partners on major education projects.

A commitment to teaching excellence, supported by consistently strong student evaluations and reflective practice, is essential.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and workload management skills are required, together with the ability to build effective collaborative relationships across the School and with external stakeholders.
