The Role

The Foundation Diploma in Art, Design & Media Practice sits within Kingston School of Art. The course delivers conceptual, practical and technical skills showcasing students’ strengths and creative direction. Students develop insight and understanding across the fields of creative practice to define their progression to study further at university.

This Pathway leader role is an integral part of the Foundation leadership team and will be responsible for leading the Fashion & Fabrication specialism. Your expertise contributes to the exceptional reputation of the Fashion specialism, taking the lead on planning and developing the curriculum, timetabling and co-ordination of specialism staff. You will embrace active studio delivery, tutorials, support and coordinate University applications, portfolios and assessments.

This role supports pastoral care of a diverse range of students, academic leadership, management and administration to maintain relationships within the Department.

0.5 FTE Lecturer position

18.5 hours per week

£33,047 pro rata,

Shortlisted candidates will give a 10-minute presentation sharing values you think should be embedded within Fashion & Fabrication at FE level and how to implement across the curriculum. This is reflective of your professional expertise and teaching experience.
