The Department of Bioengineering is a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment at the forefront of research and innovation. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Biosciences Core Facilities Manager to join our technical team and play a key role in supporting world-leading research, teaching, and innovation.
Working as part of a collaborative technical team, you will provide specialist support and leadership across a range of departmental core facilities and research laboratories. Based primarily at our White city campus, you will work closely with colleagues across the department and wider College community, providing expertise, operational support, and continuous improvement across our facilities.

Reporting directly to the Technical Operations Manager (Biosciences), you will take a lead role in the management and development of key technical areas including:
You will ensure these facilities operate effectively, safely, and to the highest standards, enabling researchers, students, and collaborators to achieve their scientific goals.

You will have substantial experience working in a laboratory environment, with strong practical knowledge of relevant biological techniques and laboratory operations. You will be confident supporting a diverse range of users and have the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy research environment.

This is a fulltime, permanent role which is 100% on-site to support our laboratories. Flexibility will be required to meet the demands of our different research facilities and teaching laboratories.
There will be an element of manual handling involved such as stock replenishment and accepting and transporting deliveries.
While primarily based at White City, you will also have the chance to collaborate with colleagues and access, be trained and assist in the support of specialist facilities at our South Kensington Campus.
