Applications are invited for a 5-year appointment as Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Theatre, Drama and/or Performance Studies in the School of English, Drama and Film. Applications are particularly welcome from candidates with research and teaching expertise in Theatre and Activism (especially in Continental Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Central and South America) and/or Performance and Technology (intermedial performance, virtual/online performances, use of media technologies in performance, etc.). Training and/or professional practice in new media, playwriting, acting or directing is desirable. The successful candidate will teach in the BA programme in Drama Studies, the BA Humanities, and in the MA programmes in Theatre Practice, Drama and Performance Studies, and Writing for Stage and Screen.
