Role overview
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Simulation Ward Technician to support the delivery of high-quality healthcare simulation training at the University of Sunderland in London. The successful candidate will have experience in a clinical, healthcare, healthcare simulation or technical support environment and be committed to providing an excellent student and staff experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain simulation rooms, equipment and learning resources to support teaching, assessments and events.
  • Set up, operate and carry out routine checks on simulation and clinical equipment.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff and students.
  • Maintain stock, equipment and inventory records.
  • Support the safe and effective operation of the Simulation Ward, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working in a clinical, healthcare, healthcare simulation or technical support environment.
  • Experience preparing, operating or maintaining clinical, diagnostic or simulation equipment.
  • Understanding of safe working practices within a clinical or technical environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
