Lecturer in Advanced Clinical Practice (Teaching and Scholarship)

Role Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic and collegial education team as a Lecturer in Advanced Clinical Practice at the Department of Health Sciences, University of York at 0.5FTE on an 11-month fixed-term contract.

The role will primarily involve delivery of Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) e-portfolio and supervision and support of students on this programme. The Department offers a range of other undergraduate and postgraduate nursing, midwifery and health sciences programmes which the postholder may have opportunities to contribute towards.

We are seeking to appoint a committed and highly motivated qualified ACP with a passion for education and extensive knowledge of contemporary practice. Experience of teaching in higher education settings, specifically within advanced practice is essential.

The Department of Health Sciences is one of the most highly regarded centres for nursing and midwifery education in the UK, ranking high in university league tables. The Department houses over 330 academics, researchers and support staff engaged in delivering research, education and professional development.

Condition of employment
