General Assistant

Wadham College is looking for a general assistant to be part of a large housekeeping team at the main college site.

The role will involve working as part of a small team assisting in cleaning, laundry/refuse collection and general movement of furniture.

This post provides an ideal opportunity to join one of the largest departments in the College on a temporary basis where a high level of service is provided. Applicants need to have relevant experience (cleaning, moving furniture) including working at Wadham College, good communication skills and be able to follow management instructions.

Salary: £14.06 per hour (Oxford Living Wage)

The working hours are part time: 20 hours per week, five days a week including weekend working as per the housekeeping roster. Some additional hours may be required.

Holiday entitlement is 30 days (to include 5 days at Christmas, plus public/bank holidays) during a complete holiday year, pro rata for part time hours and fixed term.
