Temporary Works Supervisor - Retrofit and Refurbishment Project (Fixed Term)

Wadham College, one of the largest Oxford colleges, is seeking to recruit a Temporary Works Supervisor for a fixed period until December 2026, to support the Estates Manager in delivering an in-house retrofit and refurbishment project. 

The successful candidate will help maintain high standards of health and safety, quality control, documentation, and communication, while supporting the project’s high sustainability objectives, including careful material use, waste reduction and energy efficiency improvements.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an exemplar low-energy retrofit and refurbishment project in an architecturally significant building, located within an historic College, working with a friendly and experienced project team.

Salary:  £37,694 - £46,049 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Grade 7 of the University Salary Scale. In addition, Wadham College also pays full-time staff a further £1,730 Oxford Weighting per annum which will also be pro rata for part time.

The working hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. Normally, the working times will be 07:30-12:00 and 13:00-16:00.
