Middlesex University is seeking an inspiring and industry connected Lecturer in Fashion Communication & Styling to join our vibrant creative community.

We are looking for a creative practitioner and emerging academic who is passionate about developing innovative fashion communicators, image-makers and visual storytellers.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines contemporary professional practice with a commitment to outstanding teaching and student success.

As part of our Design and Creative Practice department in MDX Studios, you will contribute to a dynamic learning environment that encourages experimentation, industry engagement and creative excellence.

You will:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Fashion Communication & Styling, helping students develop the creative, technical and professional skills needed to thrive in the fashion industry
  • Teach and inspire students across Fashion Communication & Styling modules and related disciplines
  • Design and develop innovative learning experiences and teaching materials
  • Provide constructive feedback and academic support to students
  • Contribute to curriculum development and course enhancement
  • Lead modules and support wider programme delivery
  • Engage in professional practice and knowledge exchange activities
  • Build and maintain links with industry partners and professional networks
  • Support student recruitment, induction and progression activities
  • Supervise postgraduate students where appropriate
