We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to manage the day to day planned and reactive maintenance of key maintenance services across our University Sites.
Working closely with the Head of Maintenance you will lead and manage the maintenance team allocating resources effectively to ensure works are completed in line with service level agreements and within the allocated budget. You will provide reports to Senior Estates Managers identifying areas for efficiencies and improvements and will develop the maintenance team promoting a ‘can-do’ attitude and positive culture within the section. You will also liaise with and provide specialist advice to customers and internal and external stakeholders building effective working relationships, understanding customer requirements, and ensuring any feedback received is monitored and actioned as required.
Candidates should have a Trade based qualification such as City and guilds Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject and have continued post qualification training with experience in a similar role or have a proven track record of relevant work experience in a similar role demonstrating practical and theoretical knowledge of a specialised field of work.
