Hours: Full Time
Contract Type: Permanent

We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for an International Officer to join our International Office, specifically the Americas, Europe and CIS team. This is a permanent role based at our vibrant Frenchay Campus, with an expectation that postholders will work on campus for at least two days per week.

The International Office is responsible for supporting student recruitment from around the world. We provide relevant and up-to-date information about our courses, entry requirements and admissions processes, working collaboratively with prospective students, education agents, schools and other partners.

Working with colleagues across the University, the International Office plans and delivers a range of recruitment, conversion and partnership activity in the UK and overseas to support the achievement of UWE Bristol’s international student recruitment objectives.

The International Officer will report to the Regional Manager for the Americas, Europe and CIS and will support recruitment activity across an agreed regional portfolio. Alongside their regional responsibilities, the postholder will take particular responsibility for supporting the effective management, compliance and continuous improvement of the University’s international education agent network, aligned to the Agent Quality Framework (AQF).

This will include maintaining accurate agent records, monitoring engagement and performance, supporting the development and maintenance of agent training and guidance materials, and escalating issues, risks and opportunities to relevant Regional Managers and the Head of International Development.

As the International Officer with a focus on Agent Partnerships, you will combine regional recruitment activity with a particular focus on supporting the University’s international education agent network. You will maintain accurate agent records, monitor engagement and performance, support the development and maintenance of agent training and guidance materials, and identify issues, risks and opportunities for escalation to relevant Regional Managers.

You will be comfortable working in a fast-moving and target-driven environment and will have experience in customer service, sales, recruitment, admissions, international education or a related field. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will also be comfortable using recruitment and agent performance data to monitor activity, identify trends and support decision-making around recruitment, conversion and agent engagement.

Experience of working directly with international education agents or recruitment partners would be particularly valuable for this role.

This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus in Bristol, the role holder will be expected to work on campus at least two days a week.

The role will include international travel across the Americas, Europe, CIS and other markets, depending on business needs and in consultation with the relevant Regional Managers.

We offer a wide range of employee benefits.

As a Disability Confident employer, we encourage applications from disabled or neurodivergent candidates.

This post is not available on a job share basis.
