We are looking for an inspiring and experienced Higher Education teacher to join the Product, Ceramic and Industrial Design (PCID) Programme at Central Saint Martins.

As Senior Lecturer, you will contribute to teaching, curriculum development and ongoing scholarship across the programme, working collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative, critical and inclusive approaches to teaching and learning. You will also play an important role in shaping the future direction of PCID, helping ensure that the curriculum remains relevant to evolving student needs, contemporary practice and developments across Product, Ceramic and Industrial Design.

A key focus of the role will be curriculum and quality enhancement. Working with the Programme Director, Course Leaders and wider course teams, you will contribute to course redesign and revalidation, programme monitoring, assessment and the continued development of accessible and inclusive pedagogies. You will help challenge established approaches within the discipline and support a curriculum that reflects a diverse and international student community.

A relevant postgraduate qualification and teaching qualification or HEA membership would be desirable.

You will be an effective communicator with experience of leading and motivating others and contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of academic standards. Your research, teaching, knowledge exchange and/or professional practice will be relevant to the ambitions of the programme, and you will bring a strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in teaching and assessment.

You will also be comfortable leading projects involving partners and diverse participants, building positive relationships with students and colleagues, and taking an innovative and reflective approach to solving problems and developing teaching practice.
