An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Epsom School of Creative Business, Fashion and Enterprise for a Senior Lecturer for the Fashion Design course. The School of Creative Business, Fashion and Enterprise was recently formed following the merger of the Fashion and Textiles School and the Business School for the Creative Industries, to create a vibrant School encompassing all areas fashion related. You will work with The Programme Director for Fashion and a team of academic and technical staff to deliver the BA (Hons) Fashion Design course, one of our largest courses with a long heritage for excellence. A key part of the role is to fully implement the new Creative Learning Framework with the existing team, who comprise Lecturers and Senior Lecturers, with technical staff, to further develop and achieve academic excellence, extend existing links with industry, and embed employability and research skills. You will further strengthen links and shared projects with other courses in the School, and work to promote the course to home and international students.
For an informal conversation regarding the role please contact Dr Julie King, Executive Dean at Julie.king@uca.ac.uk
